Two head school teachers and around 30 Ukrainian students participated in the event. We introduced Japanese culture by giving a presentation, writing each student’s name in Japanese Calligraphy, and doing Origami together. We also got to show them some traditional Japanese games, such as Bozu-mekuri, Kendama and Fukuwarai, which all students seemed to enjoy playing together. Their teachers were in tears when we talked about how much we think of peace in Ukraine and how much we love Ukraine. Many students were already big fans of Japanese culture, so they seemed very excited to experience our culture.
